OysterVPN are a slightly lesser known VPN provider with a more basic service in some respects, but excellent value plans for budget VPN users. One of the first things potential customers want to know is the server selection, and OysterVPN’s server choice is comparatively limited versus other VPNs.

OysterVPN currently offer server locations in 32 countries, including the USA, Canada, UK and Australia, plus major European countries. All servers are unlimited use and P2P supported, and 5 simultaneous connections are allowed.

In other words, OysterVPN’s server choice is more basic, with just servers in the main Western/European/Asian countries you’d expect.

But in fairness, that’s all many VPN users needs, and with their excellent value long term plans, OysterVPN can be a good no nonsense VPN option.

It’s a decent server selection, covering the main countries you’d expect, but it isn’t market leading for sure. For VPNs with a much larger server choice of 80-100 countries, you need to check out Private Internet Access, Surfshark and ExpressVPN.

Notable locations that are missing that are usually offered by others include Mexico and New Zealand. China is also not offered, but on the upside, Russia is. Africa and the Middle Easy isn’t really covered; it’s more Europe and the Commonwealth countries that are covered.
